These mini 🍩 treats have been a major hit in my home.
I've wanted to master donut making for so long, and the mini donut maker really makes it so easy!
Since I can't resist stopping at the local donut shop every once in awhile and indulging on a dreamy sugar raised donut, that when I first came across a cinnamon-sugar covered donut recipe, I had to try it.
After looking at different donut pans and not knowing which I should choose, I came across a donut maker. It made donut making look quick, easy and easy to clean. The donuts were even mini-sized, and customer reviews looked great. I took the chance on it and it has brought me so much joy!

I had no idea donut making would be so fun.
From flavor options, decorating the donuts, packaging, and displaying the donuts, the donut maker has proved to be a cool new kitchen go-to for me.
For these donut-packed gifts, I went online and found cute treat boxes that fit one dozen mini-donuts each. I made sure to choose a box with a window.

I alternated donut placing with this flavorful lineup..
chocolate glazed
funfetti
strawberry
apple cider
Dunking the donuts in melted chocolate, creamy glaze, or cinnamon sugar and sprinkling mini chocolate chips or colorful sprinkles can really take your donuts to the next level.
If you're looking for a healthy option, get creative with fruit-filled donuts! Whether they're stuffed with hot bursted blueberries, juicy apple chunks or mashed bananas with nuts, these mini donuts can be a great new breakfast or treat idea.
It's been so fun experimenting with these mini donuts and I'm excited to share some of my favorites with you.
The first one being these..

Apple Cider Mini Donuts
Yield: 28 mini donuts
Ingredients
For the donuts:
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup apple cider
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, regular or 2% reduced fat
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the topping:
2 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
In a measuring cup mix the apple cider and Greek yogurt.
In a separate bowl add the butter, oil and sugars together and mix until light and fluffy.
Add in the egg and vanilla and mix until combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary.
Once all the wet ingredients are combined, add in the dry and wet in alternating small batches. Start by adding 1/3 of your dry mixture and combining, following that with half of the wet until everything is combined.
Scoop batter into a 1-gallon plastic bag and seal partway. Snip off 1/4" from the corner of the bag. Add batter to donut molds until around 3/4 full. (Or use piping bag).
Bake for 1 1/2 minutes. Using a toothpick, flip donuts and bake for another 1-2 minutes (or until brown).
Once all donuts are finished cooking, melt butter in a small dish and in a separate bowl mix together some sugar and cinnamon. Dip the donuts in the butter, then the cinnamon sugar mixture, and enjoy!

Thank you.!
